We work for people who just care about Money,
As long as the profits come in as sweet as Honey.
How their subject feel or cope doesn’t truly Matter,
Whether they get their lives together or it Scatters.
There are parents who give birth simply for Show,
As long as they reach climax, that’s all they Know.
What the children will eat isn’t any of their Business,
All that matters is to cure their urge and Uneasiness.
Those in the power house are there to accumulate Wealth,
They go back in over and again despite their ill Health.
They promise and fail the people, fool the entire Mass,
They only care about their family, those in their Class.
Friendship has become a bond of pain and Betrayal,
Once a haven of trust, now filled with sheer Denial.
Friends back in the day you know are pretty Discreet,
Have become those you can’t trust with your Secrets.
Relationships have become more of a joke, a Child’s Play,
When sex is thrown on the table, never last more than a Day.
When money isn’t involved, love is counted as null and Void,
No matter how good a person is, like a plague they’ll Avoid.
Divorce has now become part of signing the dotted Lines,
Marriage is now a business, play your role or pay Fines.
A bond once sacred to most, has become an Abomination,
The matters now involved is more than Miscommunication.
It’s sad, that people we love and respect don’t feel the Same,
Those we think values our existence, says we are the Blame.
So, when a person or people stop saying and showing that you’re Valuable,
Just know within your heart that to this individual or group, you’re Expendable.
