We work, we eat, we sleep and Wake,
We clean, we drink, we cook and Bake.
We search and seek, till we ache our Joints,
Do it all over again, then what’s the Point?
We tell ourselves lies over and over Again,
Our heart and head, trying to make Bargain.
We party and cruise, maybe that’s the Answer,
We buy properties and acquire our Range Rover.
We paint our faces with make up and Chemical,
We bathe now and then, with varying Formula.
We collect clothes and bags, oh tons of Jewelry!
Our wardrobes are stock with nice shiny Artillery.
We learn and re-learn to earn the Certificates,
To climb the ladder, become the best Candidate.
Prove to the world, we are bound for Greatness,
But the question is, do they bring real Happiness?
One time or the other, we ignore the real Issues,
We simply see and treat them like paper Tissues.
We are so selfish on the things we want to Have,
But unknowingly somehow, we cut our lives to Half.
We forget that no matter how much we do our Best,
We need each other, cause one tree can’t make a Forest.
That’s why they say: “There’s more happiness in Giving”,
Than you can ever think of, than there’s ever in Receiving!
…So, never ignore the Mental, Physical, Spiritual nor the Emotional needs of yourself. But while doing that, if not careful, we can ignore or forget that of honest-hearted and our true loved ones… Please, find a way of Balance…
